It’s full on winter now; but that won’t stop our parkour training! New to our practice are hats, gloves, and long underwear. Where is the Take Flight David Belle long underwear I wonder? Training in snow is slippery, soft, and fun! Also cold. Highlight of November: our parkour gym, No Limits AFC, shared our site on Facebook.

October 14, 2012

After an injury that caused a foot fracture, we’ve been training non-impact moves. That means lots of balance and rolls. During the healing time we’re going to try to perfect our roll on concrete and also train for muscle ups so that when recovery is complete we can get right back into it and work on some new moves.

Sept 9, 2012:

This week we were a little flat on practice time. In total we only logged about an hour of training. We did have an opportunity to hang out at our local parkour gym for a bit. Talking with others who practice was a big morale boost for us; these are good people, we will have to try getting back to AFC more often.

Aug 31, 2012:

This month we focused on our Kong and Dash vaults. We have logged 7 and 3 hours, respectively, on each. Not much time when you think about it. Milestones for the month of August: leaving the park and expanding our practice terrain to downtown, having the police watch us practice, first Kash vaults, first reverse vaults, and our first video!
